What we collect, why, and what we never do with it.

Who we are
Jewelry by Mann, based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. For any privacy question, contact info@jewelrybymann.com.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, email address, and phone number if you give it, plus whatever you write in your message.
- When you join the mailing list: your email address.
- When you place an order: your name, delivery address, email and phone number, and what you ordered.
- Stored on your device only:your bag and wishlist are kept in your browser’s local storage. They are not sent to us and we cannot see them.
What we do not collect
- Payment details. We never see or store card numbers. When card payment is introduced it will be handled entirely by the payment provider.
- Advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. This site does not run third-party ad pixels or build advertising profiles.
Why we use it
- To answer your message or styling question.
- To take, pack and deliver your order, and to give you tracking.
- To send you email updates, if you asked for them.
- To meet tax and business record-keeping obligations.
We do not use your information for anything else without asking you first.
Who we share it with
Only where it is needed to complete what you asked for — the delivery carrier gets your name and address, and the email provider gets your address if you subscribed. We never sell your information, and we never pass it to advertisers or data brokers.
How long we keep it
- Order records: seven years, as required for tax purposes.
- Enquiry messages: up to two years.
- Mailing list: until you unsubscribe. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it — except where we are legally required to keep order records. Email info@jewelrybymann.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to order information is limited to those who need it to fulfil your order. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not hold the category of data — card numbers — that would make us a worthwhile target.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the updated version is posted here.
